Help for the detection of colistin resistant genes
I'm a beginner on genomic analysis. I have a bacterial strain XDR (resistant to colistin by a phenotypic test) and then I realized a complete sequencing of the genome followed by a Novo assembly and when I used the databases Resfinder, Caard and ARDB, I Does not find any known gene for colistin resistance. Can you help me with a method to detect colistin resistant genes. Thank you.
