help - .fam and .bim kept being automatically converted to .txt by Mac
Hi,
Does anyone know how to stop Mac (OS Sierra) from automatically converting .fam and .bim file to .txt? everytime I downloaded .fam and .bim, it automatically got converted to .txt which made plink unable to read it. Am new in using plink and R, any help is greatly appreciated.

Remove the
.txtextension by renaming the files. That should be all that is needed, if you are downloading them from web?
