definition of additive variance and dominance variance
hi,
I would like to know what is the additive variance and dominance variance, please give me an example to both variances so that I can understand (i'm new to genetics) since I will apply ANOVA using MatrixeQTL package in R to find the relation between gene expression and Snps genotyped (0,1,2).
also what is the ANOVA components ? I mean the total variation in the gene expression can be explained by the additive variance and dominance variance, is that correct ?
so I have 2 dummy variables , which one is the reference
I would like to also know what is the model ?
