How to predict how SNP's in the 5'UTR of a gene found in dogs will effect how the gene is expressed
I am currently searching for SNPs in several genes in dogs that may cause a change in the protein structure/function or effect how the gene is expressed.
I have some SNPs in the 5' UTR of a gene but I'm not sure how to predict how they may or may not effect gene expression, are there any programs that can predict changes to gene expression caused by SNPs in non-coding regions of a gene, specifically in the Canis Familiaris organism?
