Tools for drawing and comparing linear diagram of amino acid sequences

Dear Biostars, Hi and Happy New Year !

I have seen Linear schematic diagram of Sox9 amino acid sequence in this paper.

I have collect the sequence of the same gene for my species of interest from RNA-seq project and I intend to draw and compare my sequence with their sequence.

I want to know how they drawn this diagram ?

is it an out put of a biology/bioinformatic related tool or just some Photoshop or image editing software?

Any idea ?

That specific diagram was probably drawn by combining data from a bioinformatics analysis program along with an image editor. There are many commercial options but few free ones that are full featured. This page has a list of free ones.
