I'm kind of new here and I got asked this question. I have a fastq file containing 3 RNA sequences :

GCACGGTTCTGTAGTCTNCAGAAGTATCNGATNNG GCTTCCTTAGTCCTACANACAGTATTCACAATNNC CCTGACTTAGTATTTCTNAATTAAAACCTCTTNNG

How can I find the sequence for the Xbp1 gene for the mouse mm9 reference genome ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As mastal511 said, there is no connection between the sequence and the fastq file based on what you write. Or do you mean that one of those sequences should match the Xbp1 gene?

What does the sequence of the Xbp1 gene have to do with your RNA sequences?

To find the sequence of the mm9 gene, google, find the UCSC genome browser and/or NCBI's Entrez Gene.
