activation of gene without a transcription factor

is it possible to activate a gene without a transcription factor . or is there any meddicine which can activate a perticular gene in the absence of transcription factor.

In normal scenario genes are getting transcribed at basal level. Transcription factors helps to boost the transcription level by recruiting more RNA pol II at TSS. Not only transcription factors but various things involved in gene activation. One of them is epigenetic modifications. It plays major role in the regulation of gene expression. For example well known histone modifications is H3K4me3 restricted to promotor is responsible for gene activation without transcription factor. Other few modifications are H3K27me3 and H3K9me3 found throughout the gene body and responsible for inactivity of transcription.

These are few examples I have given you. The answer of the question you have asked is beyond the scope here. I would suggest you to refer some basic biology book to get more insight
