Identify horizontally tranferred genes
Guys,
In M. tuberculosis bacterium, there are 11 Two-Component Signal transduction pairs encoded in its genome. I want to identify which of these genes have been acquired through Horizontal (Lateral) Gene Transfer (HGT/LGT). How to do it? Where could I start?
PS: I am not an expert in Bioinformatics.
