Is miRNA and mRNA data from GDC (TCGA) from same patient samples?
Hi All, I am sorry if this question has already been asked or answered, Can anyone please tell me, if the miRNA and mRNA data from TCGA (Now GDC) from same patient or from different patients?

Hello,
Not all of the miRNA-Seq or mRNA-Seq data have corresponding mRNA-Seq and miRNA-Seq data respectively. However, over 9,800 (out of 11,353) patients from TCGA have both types of data processed by the GDC.
