How do I make a Java application containing an access database platform independent?

I used the JDBC-ODBC driver for developing a bridge .It carries the database in the project folder. The problem arises when I have to configure a driver on every machine where the project is deployed. Is there any way to develop bridge by coding?

but it's highly specific to java/jdbc. whatever the content of the database is, you'll get a correct answer from StackOverflow.
