Using kallisto for metagenomic analysis

Is there a guide or tutorial for using kallisto for metagenomic analysis? I've seen multiple papers mention that application and I found the metakallisto GitHub page ( https://github.com/pachterlab/metakallisto ), but there is no documentation anywhere.

Looks like the repo was updated. Full documentation was added to README on January 12 and now there is also a publication to go along with it.
