Is it possible to increase number of read size in probe sequencing?

Hi all,

I have a question about sequencing on MiSeq sequencer. I have a library with ~600bp size (created with probes) and I would like to run it on v3 kit with 2x300bp. Have someone already done something like this? Previously I was using v3 kit with 2x150bp and it went well. Now I would like to change that to 2x300bp but I am afraid to run it without consultation.

It would "work" but the middle of your amplicons will not be covered well because quality drastically drops toward the end of the reads. In addition, the quality of variant calls is far better if you have reads in both directions covering your base.
