How to install Yabi on Ubuntu Linux (there is no Yum)?

How to install Yabi on Ubuntu Linux (there is no Yum)? Is it rational to run CentOS on a virtual machine and use Yum or there is some way to put Yabi on Ubuntu local Apache host? Thx.

yabi

This is not a bioinformatics-related question and maybe more appropriate on Ask Ubuntu. For info, Ubuntu doesn't use yum for package management but apt-get. If your software is not available in an Ubuntu repository or as a deb package, you'll need to install from source. You could also try converting an rpm package on Ubuntu with Alien but this is not guaranteed to work.
