Can anyone help me out in normalizing data. I have data for different pathogens having different different rates of resistance mechanism and how many isolates have been tested against a particular antibiotics. i. e. 86% resistance for 35 isolates in 2011 85% resistance for 98 isoltes in 2012. and so on. I could not understand how to normalized this data and what else can be done in the context of noramalization like plotting data in a different manner...Please elaborate and explain how to normalize data.
