How sense strand is deciphered after sequencing?

I have a query that, how sense strand is deciphered after we get the sequence of a bacterial genome sequenced by SMRT?

I'm not aware of a protocol for strand specific genome sequencing. Furthermore, does that even make sense? Corresponding to (m)RNA there is a sense and antisense strand related to from which strand the RNA is transcribed, but is this something you can say about an entire bacterial genome?

Bacterial replicons like chromosomes or plasmids encode many genes and the orientation of these genes is not much restricted. Neighboring genes often have opposite orientation. Therefore the concept of a "sense strand" is not useful when talking about complete bacterial chromosomes or plasmids.
