BioMart for Bacteria Ensembl

It is currently not possible to build a BioMart database with the 30,000 genomes we have in EnsemblGenomes- Bacteria.
However, there are currently long term plans to replace BioMart, and creating a tool that is able to handle the ever-expanding number of bacterial genomes is a major consideration for us while designing this new data export tool.

What would you like to retrieve/do? In the meantime of having a BioMart replacement, would the Ensembl Genomes REST API be helpful? Check the current Ensembl Genomes REST API Endpoints. Check this piece of Biostars news for more details, albeit being published almost 2 years ago.
