I have a list of genes, which are possibly cancer causing genes, how can i classify them as oncogene or tumor suppressor gene? Based on what, genes can be classified as oncogene and tumor suppressor gene?
A very similar question was asked previously: Database Of Tumor Suppressors And/Or Oncogenes
This paper also addressed the topic and provides a method based on mutation data: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26209800
