Hi every one!

I wondered what the black bars (indicated by green circles)enter image description here are meant to denote? The figure is obtained from a BLAST search and then clicking on the "Graphics" in the alignment section of BLAST result page.

Thank you very much, esp for the pdf file. However my question relates to another page, when I go down the BLASTs's result page to the alignments section, there is a link "graphics". What puzzles me is the black bars in the sequence viewer page that opens on clicking the link.enter image description here
