Papers Comparing Different Protocols For Next Gen Seq

Hi, I would be interested in papers comparing different protocols (e.g. different priming methods, different fragmentation methods, etc.) for DNA or RNA seq. I know the paper from Levin et al (Comprehehnsive comparative analysis of strand-specific RNA sequencing methods). Does somebody know about other papers?

Thanks, Steffi

Below are two articles, one comparing the methods for fragmentation and other comparing massively parallel sequencers with the currently developing next generation of electrophoresis-based genetic analysis platforms.

1: Knierim E, Lucke B, Schwarz JM, Schuelke M, Seelow D. Systematic comparison of three methods for fragmentation of long-range PCR products for next generation sequencing. PLoS One. 2011;6(11):e28240. Epub 2011 Nov 30. PubMed PMID: 22140562; PubMed Central PMCID: PMC3227650.

2: Hert DG, Fredlake CP, Barron AE. Advantages and limitations of next-generation sequencing technologies: a comparison of electrophoresis and non-electrophoresis methods. Electrophoresis. 2008 Dec;29(23):4618-26. Review. PubMed PMID: 19053153.
