Pooling biological replicates and accuracy of differentially expressed genes analysis from RNA-seq experiment
Hi all,
I encounter with an RNA-seq experiment from a non-model plant, which three biological replicates were pooled and sequenced. I was wondering if the mean expression (from pooling strategy) can consider a good indicator of expression variance? so, is it right to estimate the statistical significance as p-value (adjusted p-value)?
Any comments and suggestion on this issue highly welcomed.
Thank you
