Is http://trace.ddbj.nig.ac.jp/DRASearch temporarily down or permanently down? I've browsed http://ddbj.nig.ac.jp and apparently they are moving things around, but it wasn't clear to me if it was going to be back up again. Is anybody else replicating their website elsewhere? For many queries, I find it the most convenient SRA website of the big three.

In the maintenance announcement "Temporary suspension of databank activities(as of Feb. 15)" the DRA services ("DRA/DTA/Bioproject data submission, update, release and data retrieval") are listed in the "Continuously provided services" section indicating that any interruption to service you as a result of the maintenance and migration work at NIG is temporary. Keep watch on the maintenance announcements for details of scheduled interruptions to services.
If you are experiencing problems that appear to be unrelated to these maintenance events, then contact the DDBJ and provide details of the issue you have encountered.
Additionally the development of services depends on users providing feedback. It sounds as though you have comments about the SRA services from DDBJ, EMBL-EBI and NCBI that would be useful to them in planning future developments for their SRA services, so you might want to let them know about what works and what does not in their current services.

I haven't been able to determine the ETA when this is going to be brought back up. Is there a contact email address I can use?
