methods for having accurate Microarray Data

Can any one tell me what are different methods we can apply to have accurate data from DNA microarray?
different methods have been applied on the images of microarray to remove noise and get accurate data, or different normalization methods for microarray data were applied. but I want to know if there is any other methods for removing noise or get more reliable data for example different methods on gene expression data? or other ideas?

Have a look at the microarray packages available at bioconductor, perhaps.
