Diamond writting error

When I used diamond to create a DB, I always got the problem:

Error: Error writing file kegg_gene.dmnd (44631864/4040)

Has anyone know how to correct it?

Maybe out of disk space? Or on a cluster?

(I have used DIAMOND on a shared file system w/o problems, but that's locally using GPFS)
