IGV: genome_alias.tab is not taken in account
Hi bioinformaticians,
I am a new user in IGV community, and I have troubles to add an alias file for my genome's chromosomes names.
I saw that, I have to do an "alias tab delimited file" and then put this file in the IGV directory. I did it, and I can not load my bam file.
So, I know that I can make the bowtie-build again changing the name of each chromosome's sequence and align with tophat again. But this solution is so long is my actual computer.. That is the reason why I have tried to use alias file.
Any kind of help or suggestions will be highly appreciated. ;)
