Dear all,

We have performed a GWAS study. We have found a SNP with genome wide significance p-value. We also replicated this result in a separate dataset.However, this SNP is not in high LD with nearby SNPs (i.e a region with high rate of recombination rate). I was wondering what the interpretation of this SNP would be in the presence of high recombination rate.
