System suggestion for work in RNA-Seq, Networks/Graph Theory, Machine Learning and Pathway/Metabolic Modelling?
I'll be starting to work on my PhD and would like to have some Desktop/Laptop suggestions. My work will include RNA-Seq analysis, working with networks and using graph theory, machine learning and metabolic modelling.
I'll have access to my university servers and also iPlant, so I don't plan to do everything locally. But a powerful system always comes in handy, when the servers are unavailable.
