News: Introduction to Python for Biologists and Advanced Python for Biologists courses

In August we will offer two 5-day Python courses at Edinburgh Genomics. Both courses will be taught by dr Martin Jones, lecturer in bioinformatics at The University of Edinburgh and writer of several Python books (http://pythonforbiologists.com/index.php/introduction-to-python-for-biologists/).

The "Introduction to Python for Biologists" course will be given from 3-7 August, while the "Advanced Python for Biologists" will be given from 17-21 August. More information about both courses can be found on the Edinburgh Genomics website: https://genomics.ed.ac.uk/events/workshops.

Note that the Advanced course will take place during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest art festival in the world. While it may be a bit trickier to find accommodation, it is by far the most exciting time of the year to visit the beautiful city of Edinburgh!
