View large phylogentic tree software advise

I have a large tree in newick format, ~2000 all genus entries. I want to view the tree and put on ancestor taxonomy at least to class or order level. I tried to use Archaeopteryx visualization program but it keeps failing saying it cant get information on some but it did work before and crashed just after. Haven't been able to get it since.

Could anyone suggest a software I could use to accomplish this. Thanks.

How about ggtree?

Have a look at http://topiaryexplorer.sourceforge.net/. It's designed for this, although I don't think it's been updated in a little while.

You can make a try with this new tool for phylogenetic tree generation that I have developed. I would like very much to get opinions on its utility and how it could be improved. Please feel free to make any comment directly to my email (it's in the page).
