It is urgent...please, could you tell me when I can define a structural superposition between two protein structures significant? I am superposing those with Chimera and looking at RMSD. This value is always low but the residues aligned are too few. So, how can I say that the similarity is really significant or not? Any suggestion would be really appreciated.
