Gavin protein protein interaction data set -2006

I am doing a project in Protein interaction clustering. I am using Gavin 2006(Proteome survey reveals modularity of the yeast cell machinery) interaction data set downloaded from biogrid, by giving the pubmed id of the paper. But it has only 7593 interactions, while from many papers I came to know that it has 7669 interactions. Could anyone help me to sort out that

Can you give us a link to the paper please? And maybe 1-2 sources on the 7669 number would also help.

Check whether biogrid has remapped the interactions to a more recent annotation of the yeast genome than used in the paper. It could be that some proteins known at the time of the paper are not annotated in the yeast genome anymore or the sequences (if provided in the paper) couldn't be mapped to a revised genome sequence.
