I want to use only viridiplantae genes in the SwissProt database. Using TagIdent I was able to sort of filter, but now I don't know how the either download these genes, or take the IDs and filter locally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just search UniProt for taxonomy:viridiplantae AND reviewed:yes to limit to SwissProt. Click download to get FASTA and other formats as well as the REST url to reuse in your favorite application.
