Multiple sequence alignment consensus sequence

Hi all..

How to get single common sequence from 100 protein sequences?

I already did multiple sequence alignment using clustal omeha, but then how to get the common sequence?

Is it possible?

alignment gene clustal-omega

Please don't cross-post on here and SEQanswers.

Ah, that's what's off with the header! How did I not realize that?!

I'm really sorry. I'm really new here. I just desperate to get an answer from those who are expert here. Please forgive me. My mistake. I will not do that again.

I think that's something else, though I noticed it too.

Ah, the post was copied from seqanswers and the new part of the header we see is from that.

I'm sorry. My mistake. Will not happen again

This might help: http://www.codoncode.com/aligner/sequence-assembly.htm

Also, the term you're looking for is "consensus sequence from MSA". Please try searching with that key phrase here as well as on Google.
