Forum: Which GATK tools should we not remove from future versions?

We are going to remove a number of tools from future versions of GATK. We would like to hear from you if you use any of the tools that not used in the core Best Practices. It may be late for it but I think it would be more informative if the survey asked for the usage level of the tools:

  1. use often
  2. use occasionally
  3. know of it but have not used
  4. did not know it existed

"saving" a tool feels overly emotional
