Forum: Meta question: why do I get the mobile version of Biostar even on a big screen?

I'm writing this on a computer with a nice big screen, but Biostar keeps giving me what appears to be the mobile version of the website. It drives me nuts. How to get the full version back? Thank you.

I have noticed this as well. In particular when I am giving a presentation and wish to show something on BioStar. I guess the low resolution of typical projectors results in this mode, even when I full screen. This is sometimes unfortunate if I wish to give students a guided tour of BioStar and they are seeing a different interface to what I am showing them.

ah ok, that is actually quite bad if that happens, I will try to look for a workaround. perhaps the size at which the different layout triggers should be smaller.

Make the browser window wider. There is no mobile detection system, the CSS detects the width of the window.

To see it "live", drag the corner of your browser window in or out.

There are three width levels at which the interface changes: small: 768px , medium: 992px, large: 1200px
