PyProt is a Python package for working with protein structure files. It comes with a collection of ready-to-use scripts for the most common file operations and protein analyses.

Some time ago when I started with protein structure analysis, I wrote some simple functions to re-use them in larger code corpora for automating all kinds of things. I thought that maybe someone would find it useful, and I am very much looking forward to contributors!
