There is an an entry-level position in our Bioinformatics Core. It will be a jack-of-all-trades role and the applicant will eventually be expected to help provide cover for our group. As such, I expect the role to require a lot of hands-on learning. This includes a wide range of the latest techniques in data analysis as well as learning a bit of Linux system-administration.

The post holder should have at least an MSc in a relevant science subject and/or demonstrable experience in key areas of bioinformatics.
