Job: Computational postdoc in Cambridge UK: transcriptional regulation in 3D genome

Transcriptional Regulation in 3D Genome Computational Postdoctoral Research Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated computational postdoctoral scientist with expertise in computational genomics, statistics, computer science and/or physics to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary research team studying 3D structure and function of the mammalian genome and its role in transcriptional regulation by integrative analyses of nuclear interaction data obtained using various modifications of Hi-C technique and other genome-wide datasets. The successful applicant will join the Nuclear Dynamics Programme led by Dr. Peter Fraser at the Babraham Institute and will work in close collaboration with the Regulatory Genomics Group led by Dr Mikhail Spivakov. Experience with integrative and statistical analyses of next generation sequencing data and knowledge of the epigenetic regulation of gene expression and chromatin structure are highly advantageous.
