My Dept. is about to lose our much-loved, incredibly dedicated graduate coordinator Elise Marshall and is looking to hire some-one new. She leaves big shoes to fill, but we hope that the Dept, the students, and the chance to live in Charlotte, NC (bright lights, big city!) will draw a terrific candidate to our door. In just two years (give or take) a new light rail line that connects downtown (fun place to live) to the university campus will open, which means you could enjoy the urban lifestyle w/o the hassles of car-commuting.
