I am a new graduate student in bioinformatics. I have learned during my undergraduate studies about the Sanger sequencing method (I understand it very well), but not the next-generation sequencing. I have spent a lot of time on google and youtube but haven't found a clear tutorial (even on the Illumina website). For example, I get confused with adaptors.

Does anyone know of good starting tutorial?
