Born in a Small village name called lakshmipura in India. Dr. Mahantesha Naika B.N. Undergraduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad with a B.Sc. in Agriculture in 2006, received an M.Sc.(Agril) in Biotechnology in 2008 from the Marathwada Agriculture university, Parbhani, Maharastara and received Ph.D.(Agril) in Biotechnology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Collaboration with National center for Biological Sciences, Bangalore in 2013. Prior to joining the UAS(B) and NCBS, I spent 9 months as a Research associate in the Department of Agriculture Biotechnology in Marathwada Agriculture university.
