I am a librarian at the Health Library of Université de Montréal. I give workshops on NCBI databases and answer reference questions from graduate students, assisting them with the use of bioinformatics tools and databases. In a previous life, I was a research assistant in various academic labs and my specialty was molecular microbiology.
