Find genome given accession number or gene symbol

Hello, is there a way to map a gene name to its origin genome?

I know there must be a way, since genes are usually taken from a specific genome, just that I don't see this obvious when I perform a local alignment.

For example, using the blastp provided by NCBI, I try to align a protein sequence and I get a list of matches between that sequence and other genes. It would be great if I can find the genomes that those genes come from.

Thank you !!!
