the meaning of the parameter on the CCLE

Hello:

When I download the data from the data set in the ccle,I have some problems to understand the meaning of the parameter. In the compound-cell line data,I have problems.

  1. I do not understand the difference between "Activity Data (median)" and "Activity SD"
  2. The option of FitType is Sigmoid Constant Linear.How can the data be summarized in what fitype?What is the reason?
  3. What is the calculation methods of the EC50,IC50,Amax,ActArea?

It would be too nice to you to answer my questions.Thanks a lot

This has nothing to do with bioinformatics, these are basic pharmacology questions that are answerable with google. For #2, learn what a Hill Equation is and you'll know why sigmoidal curves are useful in pharmacology. Anyway, I'll close this due to being off-topic.
