Identify chip platform given probe ID

Title says it all. I have a list of probe ids that I know are for a murine set and belong to Affymetrix. I would like to do some bioconductor work and I require the name of the platform to retrieve data.

is the only data you have probeids? or do you for example have an ExpressionSet object?

I have an Excel spreadsheet with Affymetrix probe ids and some statistics. No ExpressionSets, I'm rotating in a lab that's less than savvy in these things. Oy

MOE430 or MOE430 2.0. All probe sets represented on the GeneChip Mouse Expression Set 430 are included on the GeneChip Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Array. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/query/acc.cgi?acc=GPL1261
