Different Selection Results Using Bioperl:Mk And Bioperl:Paml
I was wondering if others get drastically different results performing the MK Test and dN/dS (via PAML) on the same sequence data. While both tests detected selection, they were on different genes. Does this mean there is a glitch in the Bioperl packages? Or this a normal result of MK and dN/dS (Ka/Ks) tests?
Thanks!
