Questions about karyotyping and metaphase spread
Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask for help in so if it's not please direct me to a correct one ,:)
I have a metaphase spread of mouse colon cells and one is pretty unique because the chromosomes appear to be very obviously paired but normally, they're randomly spread out even if they also have 80 chromosomes like in this case. For better context, the chromosomes would be right next to each other like: uu, or sometimes at an acute angle. So, I was just wondering if there's a specific reason for it.
Thank you!
