I am working on a breast cancer diagnostic gene expression signature project and am attempting to perform a same-platform Tumour vs Normal validation using the METABRIC dataset. The Curtis et al. (Nature, 2012) supplementary methods explicitly state:
"High quality RNA derived from adjacent normal tissue was available from 144 samples."
These 144 adjacent normal breast tissue RNA expression profiles were generated on the Illumina HT-12 v3 microarray platform — the same platform as the 1,980 METABRIC tumour samples available on cBioportal. The data appears to be under controlled access. Is there an alternative public repository where these 144 profiles have been deposited separately or as part of a re-processed dataset? Can someone help me with this?
Thanks in advance!

Data for "normal" samples is also subject to the same privacy rules. So it may also require an application for access, if the tumor samples are controlled access.
