Dear all,
We would like to let you know that only 2 seats remain available for the upcoming Physalia online course “Metabarcoding in Microbial Ecology”, taking place 16–20 March.
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to microbial metabarcoding, guiding participants through the full workflow of a metabarcoding study—from raw sequencing data processing to multivariate statistical analysis and data visualization.
Importantly, all hands-on sessions will be conducted using QIIME2 and R.
Through a combination of lectures and practical hands-on sessions, participants will learn how to:
- Process next-generation sequencing reads from metabarcoding studies
- Analyze microbial community composition and diversity
- Apply statistical approaches for ecological interpretation
- Visualize and interpret metabarcoding results
The course is designed for researchers and students interested in microbial ecology, biodiversity, and community analysis.
