thank you!
When adding custom tracks in the UCSC genome browser, is there a way to add custom data fields to the window that opens when you click on the track? I know that I get information for the "Item Details", but is it possible to add supplementary fields?
For context, we are using the custom tracks to denote structural variants for ADLD and would like to include supplementary molecular and demographic features along with publication information associated with each track.
Thanks!

Not with custom tracks but with track hubs you can do anything: define custom fields, colored mouse overs, link outs, tables with json data and much more. Google for ucsc track data hubs and give it a try. Example #3 on the bigBed page. Or email us at genome@soe.ucsc.edu

While you may get an answer here you may also want to post this on UCSC browser forum for direct assistance: https://groups.google.com/a/soe.ucsc.edu/g/genome
UCSC support folks don't stop by Biostars that often.
Thank you for the advice!
