I'm a final year B.Tech Biotechnology student from India. I'm facing the Masters vs industry experience decision and would deeply appreciate 5-10 minutes of your insight.
Specific question: Given the current market (2025), would you recommend Masters in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics, or rather the field has become too saturated to get into with keeping future prospects in mind for someone with strong programming background?
Your experience would provide valuable perspective. Would you be open to a brief conversation on this topic?
Best regards, Ayush

There are too many variables for anybody here to provide you any real concrete advice, including your location and desired future locations, what you're actually interested in, family and financial situation, etc. You'd be better served by trying to talk to some local professionals or people in actual roles that you're interested in.
The market's brutal at the moment, at least in the US.
